Treat the members of your family with respect.
Although things have been a bit rocky with my family lately, we do enjoy each other's company, I think more than other families do. There is nothing more awkward than being around a family that doesn't get along. Of course, I have put friends in that position when I am arguing with family members so I probably should preach.
