The next time you are really frightened, think of warm things. When you are afraid, you freeze. Think of hot chocolate, fires, and blankets.
I cannot remember the last time I was truly frightened. I am pretty much immune to scary movies at this point and I avoid going out alone at night. This is a really interesting technique. I would actually like to learn more about these things. So, readers: what do you do whenever you are scared? Please comment!:)

If I feel scared my body goes on high alert.Everything tenses. I make myself do the three deep breaths that I always talk about. It ALWAYS helps me to think straight.I determine then if it is indeed scary and what my next move is.
