Don't get caught up with shoulds. There is no deadline or necessity to have a partner, get married, or have kids. Don't judge yourself by others' lives.
I didn't date in high school and always felt like kind of a loser because of it. Why? High school couples for the most part are annoying and caught up in each other's lives so much that they can't disentangle themselves to make their own decisions (there are exceptions of course). I recently made a before 30 life list with a bunch of fun, adventurous things I am going to do when I am single. When I looked at all the exciting things I would be doing, I felt enormously grateful that I would not have to check in with anyone else.
