June 30

Tell yourself you are too strong and courageous to hold on to the resentments of the past.  Forgiving yourself does not mean you have to deny that you did something wrong.  Don't waste the present thinking about the past.

I am too strong and courageous to hold on to (onto?  What is the rule for that?) the resentments of the past.

There have been a lot of things in my life that I have had to forgive myself for.  Sometimes, forgiving yourself might make you feel guilty, like you are denying that it happened.  I love what Diana Fletcher said about that.  It doesn't mean you have to discard the past, it simply means you can move on.
